Not the worst blogger in the world, but close!

So, for those of you who haven't heard, I opened my new studio in Kalispell. The last time I blogged, was before that had opened. It is pretty cool, and I will get some pictures of it up soon. Meantime, I wanted to show a couple of my buddy that I took last week when he came to work with me.

My Dog Diesel

OK, I know it's cheesey, but he was such a sport. He climbed over his fence several times for me. He's the most loyal dog I've ever met, and he loves me.

Finally! We have our header.

Well? We like it. I think that it still needs something else to top it off, but maybe it just needs to grow on me? Garren, what do you think?

It's that time of year again . . . Engagement Shoots.

Look at these guys. They were great! We had a really nice day. You wouldn't know it to look at them, but it was below freezing out. Actually, we have discovered that is a good thing for engagement shots. It keeps the couple close!

These Guys? Here? What the . . .

Wow! I can't believe it!

Experimenting in Commercial Photography

Well, I spent a good portion of this afternoon trying to make an image of my old cell phone look presentable. This is what I came up with. Not too bad I hope. Don't forget to comment on this one to let me know what you think.

I have a cool job.

I really do love what I do. These guys were great to work with, and had a great time having their portraits taken. It is good to see a couple that love each other like this. The lighting was awesome.

I Love Winter . . .

Well, I do love winter, but the wind the other night was amazing. I thought that I had seen the worst, but I was wrong. When it was all said and done, we had a drift up the driveway that was 2-4 feet deep, and I could walk on the top of most of it! After all the neighbors chipped in, and paid a skid-steer to come and plow us out ( after a four wheeler, a snowblower, and a Ford F-250 couldn't touch it! ) we now have great tunneling snow piles. There will be pics of our snow fort soon to come. Today, I was able to drive up to Lake McDonald and spend some time seeing what I could see. It was 9 degrees at the Lake. . . . . . .

Snowin' and a blowin'!

It snowed like crazy yesterday! Towards the evening, it slowed up, and then cleared off so the temperature dropped to -3.1 degrees. The bison didn't seem to mind, but my truck does. You may have noticed the plug in. No, that's not because it is a hybrid (not my old clunker! ) It is an engine plug heater. It works so well, my oil temp indicater heats up before I even start the truck.

We're swarming with puppies!

So here are some puppy pictures.

These are two little female choc lab pups. We had some folks purchase both of them. I edited weddings today holding one of them in my lap. She just laid there and snuggled in. I always get cold when I set at the computer for very long, so she was my little heater!

More to come1

As I get this figured out, I hope to put lots, and lots of pictures on this blog. Check back, and see what crazy things pout out of this head of mine. Thanks.
Ok, so this is my first post, and it is really just to see if I can get things figured out.
