About Me

My photo
Seth
Growing up in northwest Montana, I discovered the backcountry of Glacier National Park and have always considered it my backyard. It was on a 5-day backpacking trip that the seed for the Glacier Preservation Project was planted deep inside of me some 20 years ago. I wanted to visit every glacier inside of the Park. At the time, there were 36 glaciers, down from around 150 or so around the turn of the last century. In the summer of 2012, I read an article stating there were only 25 remaining and they wouldn't be around for more than another decade. In all my searching I couldn't find a complete collection of artistic images capturing each glacier and its individual and unique characteristics. It is my dream and goal to preserve the 25 remaining glaciers of Glacier National Park, Montana through photographic artistry for everyone before we lose them forever. The finished product will be a coffee table book full of images documenting the existence of these fascinating features of our country's heritage. You can follow my personal journey as my family and I complete our project in Glacier National Park's wilderness through our various social media outlets.
