So my last post was about how I enjoy the time I have had to spend with my family this winter. Yesterday, I spent some of the wish it were me instead time. Poor baby girl. I hope that we can keep the scar from being too bad. She was such a trooper. At one point while she was laying there on the table, she said,"I really bad don't want stitches." I was putting pressure on her cut for the nurse, and I was shaking like mad. Tons of adrenaline! It calmed her down when I asked her if she could feel how badly I was shaking. Somehow, that brightened her day, and she gave me a little smile. Now all she can do is brag about her stitches.

Poor girl! What happened?
All I know is, I was on the couch with a nasty headache, and my lungs on fire, when Jill opened the front door and yelled, " Oh shoot Seth!" Headache now gone, I sprinted to the door, and here comes baby girl with blood all over! Jill had just let them outside, and she slipped on the ice, and landed forehead first.
Yow! That looks like a big person owie!
Ouch! She is one tough cookie. That is the worst feeling to see you kid in such a state of being hurt. I don't fare too well with head wounds and kids. When I was 13my little brother cracked his head open. I saw the whole thing and instead of running to help I ran in the other direction screaming like and crying like little girl. I don't think I would make a good paramedic. I am glad to hear she is OK.
